Dr Mina AsaidMBBS FRACS (Neurosurgery) PFET (Spine) DipAnatDr Mina Asaid is a leading Australian-trained Consultant Neurosurgeon and the Director of NeuroSpine VIC. He specialises in the comprehensive multi-disciplinary management of brain and spinal disorders, with subspeciality interest in complex and minimally invasive spinal surgery. Dr Asaid completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Monash University, and completed his Neurosurgical training through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons across several of Victoria and Tasmania’s largest tertiary hospitals. He has undergone PFET-accredited post-fellowship training in complex spinal surgery, and continues to be heavily involved in brain and spinal research to ensure he is up to date with the latest evidence whilst providing the best care for his patients. He is also an accredited assessor for Worksafe and TAC patients. Dr Asaid prides himself on his communication and empathetic nature with his patients, understanding the significant consequences pain or disease can have on overall health and well-being. He will ensure you are well informed of your condition, treatment options and rehabilitation whilst you are under his care. He consults primarily in Bendigo, where he was born and raised and his extended family are based, and is focused on delivering the highest quality of care to Regional Victoria. He also conducts regular consulting sessions in East Melbourne. He holds public appointments as a Consultant Neurosurgeon and Spine Surgeon at both Alfred Health and Austin Health. |
